Diet plays a very important role in nurturing your body specially after childbirth. Since you are also breastfeeding your little one, making sure that you are taking in all the necessary nutrients becomes your top priority. Here’s a diet plan for you which will nourish you.
Early Morning (7:00 am-8:00 am)
15 ml Dashmool Kadha with equal quanity of water.
4 Soaked Almonds
4 Soaked Cashews
Breakfast (8:30am-9:00am)
1 Bowl rice porridge
1 glass milk with 1 tsp Shatavari Kalp
OR
2 Boiled eggs whites
1 glass milk with 1 tsp Shatavari kalp
Mid- Morning (10:00 am- 10:30 am)
1 Laddo (dry fruits & nuts, jaggery, edible gum, coconut)
Lunch (12:30pm-1:00pm)
Chana Dal & rice with 2 tbs ghee
1 local and seasonal leafy vegetable
1 glass fresh buttermilk
Mid-Evening (4:00pm-4:30pm)
1 tender coconut water
Evening (6:00pm-6:30pm)
1 Bowl Soup (tomato, spinach, drumstick, corn, bottleguard, green peas)
Late Evening (8:00pm)
15 ml Dashmool Kadha with equal quantity of water'
Dinner (8:30pm)
1 Jwar roti/rice and dal
Bedtime
1 glass milk with 1 tsp Shatavari Kalp
